Foundations For Mindful Living:
Coaching, Mindfulness, and Neuroscience
An ICF-accredited Level 1 program, Foundations for Mindful Living is an induction into coaching competencies, informal mindfulness practice and how they shape your and your clients’ brains. At the core of the program is a focus on building your capacity as a coach to support your clients with mindfulness practices that encourage a calm mind, resourceful states and attention to wellbeing. Your commitment to a mindfulness practice as a coach becomes the theme of the peer coaching sessions in the academy’s popular Coaching Workouts.
The program trains you to develop a communication style reflecting ICF ethics and competencies. Mindfulness training enables you to engage in deep listening, deep looking, emergence of insights and compassionate presence when working with your clients. When you model this behavior as a coach, your clients will begin to exhibit this mindset in their communication style. The program consists of three modules: Mind Presence, Applied Mindfulness and Mentor Coaching.
Your learning path begins with the module Mind Presence: Emergence of Insights.
